April 10, 2019Introducing a NEW interactive Mental Health Workshop Series for Children
As a child, growing up can be challenging.
There can be bullying, and a child may think they can’t do something or that they aren’t good enough. They can have insecurities about school, family, friends, and themselves.
Enter The Collective Approach – Little Bees – a new division that provides children barrier-free mental health services.
Children are inspired and empowered to think “I Can”
Four Children’s Mental Health Workshops
These are expertly-led, interactive workshops at Wee College for children ages 8 through 11 – each with a specific focus.
- Week One (April 6) – emotion recognition (learning to identify our feelings and why that’s so important)
- Week Two (April 13) – making connections between our emotions and our behaviors – and how changing some of that might help us
- Week Three(April 20) – positive mindset (what it is, why we want it, how to get it)
- Week Four (April 27) – we will set goals that will use the information we’ve learned over the last three weeks and promote a positive mindset going forward
These workshops are for children to attend! 🙂
All workshops run from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
