Inside me is a mother who wants to love and care for her child and also inside me is the   child who wanted to be loved and cared for.

Without realizing it my personal child life experiences’ became the force behind my desire to empower confidence, nurture wonder and create well-being for children. Without realizing it Wee College became the mother and the child of my future.

I was a little girl who grew up creating worlds of safety, security and happiness not only for myself yet for a brother, sister and neighborhood children.   I created worlds in my mind that manifested into our reality….and even if they lasted only an hour, they became hours that were gifts to me and to others. My imagination saved me from a world that could have destroyed me.  My imagination truly made me smile.

As a child the trusted adults in my world caused pain, loss and confusion, I remembered as a child wondering if every child cried at night, if they felt fear and were they unloved.

It is why Wee College’s guiding principles nurture a learning culture defined by wonder, exploration, confidence and self-reliance as a path to lifelong happiness and success.
