I was asked recently to share my thoughts and experiences on franchising. I actually believe the franchising concept for Wee College came from a vision board that went a little overboard.

I participated in a business program in 2010 and was asked to envision my life, home and business in the future, incorporating my needs and desires through the use of a vision board.

My board was an assembled collage of pictures from the internet showing a dream home, healthy family, a peaceful oasis by the water, a handsome husband to be, a Wee College curriculum, scholarships and a franchising model enabling Wee College to grow.

Today, my vision has manifested into a franchised model with five franchised sites, scholarships, curriculum including Wee College Companion, Wee Artist, Wee Guardian and on a personal note… the husband to be arrived too.

I believe that if you desire it, you write it down; put it to print then it shall be. There is a scripture that reads, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7. Therefore, asking, questioning, knocking and doing were a part of my process.
